We're putting on our first community harvest called BS3 Jammin',on 30th September - 1st October at St Paul's Church in Southville, where any proceeds will go to the food bank. The idea is to invite people to be part of a 'Pick Your Own Trail' in BS3 where people open up their gardens so people can pick fruit/veg from their gardens/allotments as well as public spaces and we provide a map for people to follow, like a treasure hunt!

St Paul's Church in Southville will be the hub where any surplus fruit and veg can be donated (where it can then be distributed to food banks / food clubs / charities / schools). We'll also be *hopefully* hosting cooking workshops (teach people how to make jams, chutneys, etc from the harvest). We'll also be apple pressing to make fresh apple juice and also invite people to take part in a cooking competition where they have to cook with what has been harvested!
