Zero Mile Gardens CIC aims to carry on activities which benefit the local community and in particular to develop and support ecologically friendly and chemical free food growing spaces in urban and rural neighbourhoods; to conduct education and training activities around food growing and consumption; to bring people together around the issues of food, social justice and environment; to contribute to changing our food production and consumption patterns in response to climate change and food poverty.
Zero Mile Gardens CIC is currently developing the Alibi Garden at Emmanuel Hall, home of the Theatre Alibi and St Thomas Library. It has 6 raised beds, wheelchair accessible. A polytunnel will be added shortly.
