Bridie's Farm (GFRFC) is a government funded community-led project in Glastonbury. We will engage participants across the areas of everyday life, health promotion and green care, and in both contexts of passive and interactive engagement with nature. The requirements of the project will provide plentiful opportunity to achieve positive outcomes for people through engaging in activity on the land. Almost all nature based activity can be described through green care in a generalised health promotion context for any participant. The project therefore aims to build an outcome measurement and impact assessment framework to work across project delivery and demonstrate positive impact and benefit from project outputs. Currently in the set-up phase until 2026 we are building our infrastructure while engaging with community groups and wider connections by holding public events and volunteering opportunities.
