We are a volunteer run, small community garden on a brownfield site in the centre of a former mining village. We aim to create a biodiverse green space and demonstrate how this can help produce healthy food for our community, which we distribute via our local community pantry. We bring together volunteers and visitors of all ages, providing intergenerational relationships in our village and introducing children to outdoor play and horticulture. We provide a wide range of free and low cost holiday activities and play experiences.
