Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary delivers a wide range of community-focused, animal-assisted, and land-based activities through our Animals Helping People (AHP) programme. We provide one-to-one and group sessions, including therapeutic animal interactions, mindfulness walks, sensory sessions, and reflective garden-based activities. Our programmes support individuals with a range of needs—mental health challenges, neurodiversity, trauma recovery, or social isolation—as well as school and college groups, youth services, and adult education. We also offer volunteer opportunities, training, and skills development in animal care, equine-assisted learning, and nature-based wellbeing. All activities are person-centred, trauma-informed, and facilitated by experienced, accredited practitioners. Our site is a welcoming space for growth, recovery, inclusion, and community connection.
