We are a rural, not-for-profit social enterprise which delivers foraging and nature-based activities to a wide range of people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. We promote nature-based learning and experiences through foraging workshops and events, nature-based arts and traditional crafts, seasonal celebrations with music, storytelling, cooking and feasting.
We bring people together, in outdoor spaces, to gather, learn and create. Improving mental and physical health and wellbeing. Empowering people with knowledge and skills of wild food and medicine in a sustainable way, teaching how to do this with great care for the environment. Building respect, gratitude and understanding for the natural world, fostering a sense of stewardship and belonging in nature and strengthening bonds of friendships and place.
We work with other local community groups, businesses, charities and social enterprises that have an interest in engaging with nature-based education and experiences.
We promote ecological awareness and connection. We provide access to natural spaces and the opportunity to gain and improve skills.
We aim to provide opportunities for a healthier lifestyle, encouraging access and connection with the natural world. Bringing people together and building a more resilient and secure community. Our activities benefit the local community as well as visitors to the area. We aim to be inclusive, affordable and accessible to all. This includes families and individuals of all ages, vulnerable sectors of the community and those who may be living very rurally or isolated.
