The Hithe is a meanwhile use site in Rotherhithe, south east London. Activating a previously empty space, the space now has an affordable workspace used by local artists, entrepreneurs, social enterprises and small businesses, as well as the community garden. The garden is used by all the tenants as well as local community: primary schools, art/nature activity providers, local small businesses and users of the affordable workspace. The garden features Hugel mounds, edible beds, a pollution-filtering climber screen, a greenhouse, water butts, a compost heap, community-designed pergola. murals and a community-built South African braai. The garden is maintained by group of volunteers, who are all hyper-local to the space.

The building at The Hithe follows circular economy principles, so is demountable, able to be relocated after its current 10-year tenure in Rotherhithe.
