As part of the national gardening for health charity we deliver local programmes of social and therapeutic horticulture STH). This are mainly from our gardens based in Kings Heath park, but also as outreach projects, including a low secure forensic unit, a women's refuge and more. We have programmes for people with long term health conditions and disability, including learning disability and autism, women with mental health conditions, carers, those with life changing physical disabilities, and children with SEN. We also engage with the local community through bespoke visits and activities, garden tours, workshops and open events. Thrive delivers training in STH nationally.
