We are a Non School Alternative Provision based on our Organic Hill Farm in the North York Moors National Park. As well as our background in farming, we also have a real passion for working with young people. Joe has worked in Safeguarding and Pastoral care for the past 10 years, and Demi's work is in SEMH and SEND at a local high school. We feel so strongly that schools need more support now more than ever to help our younger generation feel included and valued in our society.

The farm has long since been a haven for young people to come and escape the pressures of modern society, but also learn about themselves. Bank House Farm was originally bought back in the 1970s by Giles and Mary Heron, a retired school teacher and house mistress who had a dream of creating a therapeutic setting for young people who they felt were being marginalised and sold short by unsatisfactory societal norms.
