We've partnered with Community Gardens Ireland to support and raise the profile of community gardens right across the island of Ireland.
Aims
Bringing community gardeners together across the Island of Ireland and amplifying the work and efforts of both our organisations.
Partners
Joint project with voluntary organisation Community Gardens Ireland.
Funders
The project was previously funded in 21/22 by the Community Foundation. We are currently seeking further funding.
Outcomes
- Convened first all-island Forum / AGM online in 2023
- Held Joint All-Island Gathering in Carlow in 2022
- Recorded a series of community garden promotional videos to be released as part of Community Growing week 14th-21st October 2023.
