London

London has the largest concentration of city/care farms and community gardens of any UK city.

There are loads of places to visit, volunteer or support. London's network of farms and gardens offer services to business, schools and health commissioners; corporate volunteering, venue hire, landscaping, workshops, creches, after-school clubs, social/care farming, mobile farms and much, much more.

Take a look at this video to find out more:

SF&G has plenty of information about London's community growing scene, including:

  • See below for a map view or list of Social Farms & Gardens members in this London, as well as local news, events and case studies.
  • London Harvest Festival: The 21st London Harvest Festival took place on Saturday, September 28th at Woodlands Farm in Greenwich. The event is held by London’s community growers each year, providing a wonderful opportunity for a day out for the whole family.
  • Resources Page: There are lots of useful information resources available for London farmers, gardeners and growers in our resources section.
