Developing good practice in care farming course (online)

Care farming is the therapeutic use of farming practices. It's a powerful mix of nature, being part of a group and meaningful farming-related activity.

Whether you're new to care farming or established but looking to develop your practice, this course is for you.

It costs £40 and is delivered by our partners Thrive. It's online so you can access the course at any time.

The course includes:

  • The theories that support care farming and underpin green care
  • Identifying the key components of good practice in care farming
  • Understanding how the key components of a care farming programme work in practice
  • Strengthening good practice in care farming
  • Demonstrating your impact to your stakeholders, eg. your service users, funders, commissioners and people that work and volunteer with you

If you don't have care farming experience yet we recommend doing the Starting with Care Farming introductory course first.

You can access our free care farming resources like our Principles of Care Farming video or the care farming knowledge base at any time.
