In 2023 and 2024 we will be facilitating 10 community groups to deliver a community meal in partnership with local food justice organisations.
Aims
The aim is to provide a community event for people living in food insecurity, and to strengthen links between community gardens and food justice organisations (social supermarkets, community fridges and food banks, for example) in Northern Ireland.
Participating groups will have a small budget to cater for members of their community. This work is funded through our Cost of Living Uplift from the National Lottery Community Fund who have been generous funders to us over the past five years.
