Since 2011, we've convened an annual forum to gather together Northern Ireland community growers, funders and support organisations.
Aims
The forum is a chance for people to meet, learn from each other and discuss the future of the sector.
Outcomes
In 2023 we held our first in-person forum on the 21st October in Derry / Londonderry.
During the pandemic we took the forum online and partnered with Community Gardens Ireland, drawing audiences of over 200 people from across the Island. We benefitted from meeting growers further afield and gaining inspiration from cities such as Waterford, Cork and Dublin. We hope to continue this online collaboration and plan to hold future forum events with Community Gardens Ireland.
