Training

The development of new training opportunities and supporting resources are key elements of the Growing Care Farming project. Social Farms & Gardens together with our partners at Thrive have been busy working with care farmers and other experts to develop a range of online and face to face training opportunities for those wanting to start a care farm, for care farmers who are already delivering services and for people who want to know more. For details of training opportunities for care farmers and for prospective care farmers please check out our training pages here

Supporting resources

We have developed a number of resources that highlight different aspects of care farming, to be used by existing and potential care farmers, commissioners and referrers of care farming services - as well as those wanting to find out more about care farming in general. We will be adding to these resources throughout the course of the Growing Care Farming work. To access these resources please check out our Supporting resources pages here
