SF&G 40th Anniversary Awards -
Virtual Awards Ceremony, 25th March 2021

We’re celebrating 40 years of supporting communities to farm, garden and grow together.

When Covid-19 restrictions hit the UK in March 2020 we put our 40th Anniversary Awards, sponsored by McClarrons, on hold. We'd received around 200 entries across the seven categories and it was wonderful to hear about all the amazing individuals, organisations and activities connecting people and nature throughout the UK.

The winners will finally be revealed during a virtual awards ceremony on 25th March 2021.

We’re excited that Pam Warhurst, Co-Founder of Incredible Edible, will be speaking at the event – inspiring us all to get involved in making change happen in our local communities.

There are two special awards for school farms :

And, as so many members have stepped up to meet the needs of local communities and beneficiaries this year we decided to add one additional award category to recognise the incredible impact that members have had on their local communities, beneficiaries and wider issues.

We will be recognising our 'Covid-19 Response Hero' during the ceremony.

Nominations were open to any group that is improving the health and wellbeing of individuals, communities and the environment through nature-based activities.

A huge thanks to Metal Bird UK for donating beautifully crafted metal birds that award winners will be able to display on their site.
