Chalkhill Farm is a smallholding with pigs, chickens, a few ducks, two goats and horses set on the outskirts of Canterbury in Kent. We offer regular placements or one-off days to those who are disadvantaged by physical, emotional or behavioural issues. Those who come regularly are usually young people excluded or on the verge of exclusion from school. We have different days for people with different needs. Visitors help to feed, groom and muck out animals, while some take up courses we hold. All visitors can learn new skills and develop at thier own pace in a quiet stress-free environment and enjoy interacting with the animals and being outdoors.
