FarmAbility is a programme of farm-based, purposeful activities for co-farmers (adults with learning disabilities, many of whom also have autism). Working in small groups and supported by staff, volunteers and Occupational Therapy students, co-farmers build the practical and vocational skills they need to move forward in their lives, while having fun and being part of a productive community.

FarmAbility is hosted by FAI Farms in Wytham; a commercial organic livestock farm. The farm extends over 1,250 acres, and is bordered by Wytham Woods and the River Thames. It is home to organic chickens, sheep, and beef cattle. Part of the Benchmark group of businesses, FAI's mission is to help the food-sector overcome key challenges and implement better farming practices, on land and at sea. Through actionable advice, applied research and innovation, FAI delivers long-term business benefits to its clients.

In addition to its programme on FAI Farms, FarmAbility has several partnerships with other farms in the county, including the Blenheim Estate, where we take co-farmers as part of our outreach programme.
