A pack produced to help the general public, schools and community groups to garden in a changing climate.
The Climate Change Gardeners Pack was initially produced as part of an initiative at Windmill Community Gardens. This revised and improved version has been edited by the original author, Tracey Lloyd.
The resource document was compiled as part of Nottingham Growing Network’s 2018/19 programme ‘Water Works: growing in a changing climate‘. The programme's aims were to:
Source, convert and install free/low cost materials for harvesting and storing rain water (through work by volunteers/project workers) and to raise understanding of the need to reduce the use of drinking water for irrigation.
Support and enable network members to improve their growing in a changing climate through peer to peer learning, group workshops and participating in network events.
Educate and advise the public and individuals in these areas at workshops and events.
