We are a community-owned farm based in West Cornwall producing vegetables, salads, fruit, herbs, eggs and honey. We sell a range of produce including both fresh and preserved produce from other local and organic suppliers via our farm shop, farmers' markets and a veg box scheme (currently c.100). We manage the farm in as organic a way as possible using regenerative farming techniques and we conserve the habitat for wildlife and in particular for pollinators.

We have a small team of very part-time staff supported by the volunteers living in the Farmhouse as part of the World Wide Opportunities On Organic Farms. We also have general volunteers from the community , some of whom are highly skilled, dedicated and experienced as well as people who come to us with more specific support needs eg. people with Autism, people who come with their own carers each week as part of a care or educational package, people with mental health support needs and people who are unemployed an in need for work experience and mentoring.

Most people report that they benefit from keeping active outdoors, meeting other people and having a focus and a sense of belonging / contributing to the community. For those who are really keen to do more independently, we also have allotments.

Our constitutional aims and objectives are:
Maintain or improve the physical, social and economic infrastructure within UK although primarily Penwith Cornwall
Advance education (particularly concerning asset-based community development and enterprises with a community or environmental focus)
Provide an opportunity for public-spirited people and organisations to contribute financially to the community, with the expectation of a social dividend, rather than personal financial reward.

Examples of the ways in which the society may carry out its objects may include:
Providing housing for those in need and help to improve housing standards;
Creating training and employment opportunities by the provision of workspace, buildings or land;
Developing new or existing services to the local community that contribute to the local economy.
