If you are interested in setting up or developing a project, you've come to the right place. We love giving practical support like site visits, training courses and networking events. If our members want guidance on important areas like employment issues, governance training, gaining access to land or site design, or if they simply want to know the best way to build a raised veg bed, we are there to help.
Starting a community garden or farm?
We recommend that anyone planning to start up a new group reads our Community Growing Resource Packs. You can find these in our 'Resources' section. In Wales you can also gain direct advice on accessing land and getting permissions to use land for all nature based and community led green space projects.
If you want to find out what training events (and networking opportunities) are available near you, please visit the 'In Your Area' section.
Starting a care farm?
We've information to help you whether you are an existing farmer who wants to diversify or someone already working in education/care/social work. You might like to look at the Growing Care Farming pages. We've also outlined some key issues you need to consider, including training and where to find funding. Visit this page to find out more.

We can usually put you in touch with a care farm, city farm or community garden within travelling distance from you. Advice from our experienced staff team and specialist volunteer advisors can be given by correspondence on the telephone or on site where appropriate. As our resources are limited, more tailored advice and support can only be provided to members. Find out more about the benefits of membership here.
