Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme

The Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme is a nationally recognised accreditation scheme offering training for individuals who are working – or plan to work – with groups of school children, young people or clients with additional needs. There are two types of training - Educational route - for those wanting to offer school visits and - Therapeutic route for those wanting to deliver care farming or green care services

CEVAS training is coordinated and delivered by the Access to Farms partnership (of which Social Farms & Gardens is a member), and accredited by Credit4Learning, part of the Open College Network (OCN). Two-day face to face training events are offered in various venues across England and there are also distance learning options.

More details about this training and dates are available from the CEVAS website.
