North West England

Over the years big cities like Manchester and Liverpool (as well as many other major cities and towns in the area) have been at the centre of community growing, whether it is on a patch of waste ground or along the alleyways between terraced houses, allotment sites or big open spaces on the urban fringe.

See below for a map view or list of local community growing sites, as well as local news, events and case studies. Meanwhile, there are lots of useful information resources available for North West England community growers on our Resources page.
