Piggy Park is a community owned and managed garden with growing spaces, polytunnel and forest schools area. We focus on developing environmental awareness and consciousness. This project has become a beacon for Rishton, being central to the activity plans of our partner community groups and schools which are doing fantastic work within our community. Beneficiaries include schoolchildren, community groups working with children (brownies, beavers, childminders etc), vulnerable adults (e.g. Supported Housing Scheme for adults with learning disabilities), residents who have plots and members of the general public (if we are open - we invite people in to spend time in PP and we talk to people - a lot!)
