Malton Montessori School offers education that follows the Montessori Philosophy of learning 'through doing', we combine academic subjects and practical experiences to ensure sustainable understanding, we are Ofsted inspected for both early years and primary age children. The Montessori approach to education includes indepth understanding of biology and zoology. We have historically combined outdoor learning in our every day operation but since the onset of the covid-19 pandemic have enhanced our outdoor exposure by taking our entire operation outside into some local meadows in an effort to safeguard our community. This move has been welcomed by children, educators and parents alike. In a few weeks since Easter we have established a productive allotment and will be gently exploring live stock by introducing chickens, small animals and sheep. We are located in a farming community in North Yorkshire and have been lent land by the local landowner, which we hope to coninue the tennancy in September.
