Gelli Fedi social farm is a community interest company based close to the R.C.T. and Bridged County Borough Council Border. The vision is to provide a community project where vulnerable adults can engage in meaningful activities aimed to increase well-being, independence and recovery through learning, engagement and fun. We are committed to the delivery of high quality person-centered support that is outcomes focused. We aim to tailor the support to the individuals needs and can offer bespoke 1:1 packages where required.
We offer a varied range of activities to include:
• Animal Husbandry
• Farm Maintenance
• Hedge Laying
• Community Projects
• Fence maintenance
• Gateway maintenance
• Woodland Management
• Equine assisted Learning and stable management
We will be running classroom learning alongside these activities in order for the people we support to gain Qualifications via the ASDAN training scheme. As we grow we intend to offer more in the way of classroom learning, to include:
• Basic woodwork
• Needle craft
• Basic butchery
• Computer IT skills
Facilities: Volunteering, Picnic area, Wildlife area, Sustainable/Green building on site
